The Story
Watermelon, from New Zealand artist Steve Carr, follows the original video work of the same name (2015), in which two women systematically stretch rubber bands around a watermelon until it becomes squashed, swollen and then ultimately explodes. This book documents the first test run of the work and the ensuring banter between Carr and Aaron Kriesler.
