Sander Breure & Witte Van Hulzen – On Gestures of Doing Nothing

On Gestures of Doing Nothing documents a performance staged by the Dutch artist duo of Sander Breure and Witte van Hulzen, which took place on 15 and 16 April 2019, as part of their exhibition 'The Floor is Lava' at Marres in Maastricht. The performance consists of eleven performers who present a series of gestures. Petra Stavast photographed both the performance and the exhibition itself. This publication was conceived and developed in collaboration with Amsterdam-based art historian and curator Arnisa Zeqo.
