Ross Coulter - Audience

Melbourne artist Ross Coulter’s Audience is a photographic series documenting audience members in 95 Melbourne galleries and museums in which there is no art, watching a performance that doesn’t exist. The project unfolded over three years and involved more than 850 members of the Melbourne arts community. The series was presented in its entirety for the first time at NGV International in 2017, and is showcased in this two-volume book. Self-published (Melbourne).
