The Story
Architecture for the Animals is a departure point from Melbourne photographer Rohan Hutchinson's previous large-scale works – it explores the intimate relationships between space and publication design. This body of work, photographed in southern Thailand, studies patterns and layering in geology and ecology, and was inspired by early 1970s Japanese mountaineering publication design. Edition of 110, comes with a 5.5 x 7 inch metallic photographic print.
24 pages, 26 x 19 cm, unbound softcover, self-published (Melbourne).
