Residential Masterpieces 03: OMA – Villa Dall'ava, Maison Bordeaux

With the two houses Villa Dall'Ava and Maison ŕ Bordeaux, realised in the 1990s, Rem Koolhaas and his office OMA opened up new paths for the end-of-the-century architecture. The programmes which the architect used for the two clients are still reflective of lifestyles today, while the designs incorporate radical propositions based on inventions and analogies typical of his approach. This large format edition surveys both houses, through full-page colour interior and exterior photographs, plans and elevations, and is introduced by an exploratory essay.
