The Story

Personal Ads is focusing on Pippa Garner’s relationship with fashion and the media, as opposed to art making. On one hand the the book shows how she managed to blend the two worlds by repurposing her commercial works into artistic objects, and on the other one how fashion has in a few cases appropriated formal as well as conceptual aspects of her work.

The publication includes an interview with Pippa by Luca Lopinto, director of Macro museum (Rome), an artistic contribution by fashion collective BLESS and an introduction by Giorgia Basch, creative Director of BilderAtlas.

112 pages, 24 x 30 cm, paperback with dustjacket, Art Paper Editions (Ghent).
