The Story

The British artist Marlow Moss (1889-1958) is one of the few early female Constructivists who inspired the great modernist masters. Unlike her contemporaries, Moss did not limit herself to painting. She applied her linear structures and mathematical principles to reliefs and sculptures as well. These aspects of her work, along with her unusual life, are discussed in detail in this exhibition catalogue. Thanks to Hatje Cantz (Berlin).

132 pages, 20 x 29 cm, hardcover, Hatje Cantz (Berlin).
