The selection of more than sixty projects all over Europe is presented in four themes: Europe’s commitment – Working with Grand Challenges; Europe’s strength – Public Spaces; Where we live today – Landscapes as Mind-Openers; What we need to develop – Landscapes for urban futures. Added to these rich illustrated thematic project-essays the book contains two portraits and two other essays.
