The Story

Tillie S. Pine and Joseph Levine first published the children’s book Gravity All Around, illustrated by Bernice Myers, in 1963. In this new, unauthorised but admiring, edition graphic designer James Langdon gives the original a fresh twist by rotating each page 90 degrees, alternating between clockwise and counter-clockwise. The non-standard layout forces the reader to constantly shift their own orientation, rotating the book back and forth to follow the story and learn about gravity.

46 pages, 15 x 21 cm, hardcover, Rollo Press (Zurich).
