Four white walls that enclose a tropical garden set the limits for this carefully directed view that photographer Erik van der Weijde offers us. Bathing cousins, a posing wife, the undisturbed dog, a dead rat, a playing son, the smoking mother-in-law and a stoic cat – all become actors in a play about the boundaries of what's private and what's public.
