The Story

Beauty Lies in the Eye is the first book compiling the work of music photographer Catherine Ceresole. Ceresole spent her formative years in New York's underground music scene during the 1980s, photographing bands and musicians that defined punk, no-wave and the music avant-garde. Since then, Ceresole has continued to photograph musicians and bands including icons such as Sonic Youth, Lydia Lunch, Beastie Boys, and many others. Thanks to Edition Patrick Frey (Zurich).
